    Peace and Quiet

"High end furnishings and equipment. Lovely, warm, swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Quiet but lots to see within walking distance or short car ride. Highly recommended."

    Perfect for Activities

"Clean, stylish, comfy and a fantastic location for Heligan and the wonderful beaches, walks and cycle routes.  The guidebook written by Liz & Steve is written as if you're having a nice chat with them, the tone is so friendly! Our whole trip was made up of the excellent suggestions within it - we'd come back for HubBox alone!! If you're exhausted after all the great things to do around here then you can always collapse with the well-stocked DVD and book collection. A really lovely place!"

"We enjoyed our stay here. Beautifully decorated apartment in a secluded area. Fabulous for relaxing and also close to lots of tourist attractions but away from the crowds. We especially liked the wooded walk to Pentewan Sands."

"We had an awesome time. Pentewan surpassed our expectations. Loved the woods and river walks.Walked to Charlestown one day and Gorran Haven the next day thanks to the map that was helpfully provided. Would highly recommend. Beautifully equipped and decorated to a high standard.  Very peaceful location and we wouldn't hesitate returning. Brilliant.  Slept like a log!"

"So my family and I had a great time at Brideshead! Everything, as stated in the ad, was spot on and it was better than we expected too. The record player was a lovely touch and the Eagles greatest hits was played every evening! Great location. Lovely walks to Pentewan beach, then the lost gardens in the same day, bit of a hill climb but we managed it with a buggy. We also made use of the swimming pool every day."

    Whatever the Weather

"We had a lovely stay here. The fittings and furniture are really high quality especially the bed which is huge! The holiday park it's on is lovely with all amenities but still quiet. We swam every day in the pool and had cosy drinks in the bar. Lovely walks straight from the house and pubs within walking distance. We definitely plan to visit again and the owners were so quick to respond and deal with, brilliant holiday!"

The Downside

It is really important to us that you have a great time so we believe in letting you know why this break might not suit you.

  • It’s a ground-floor apartment, but there are steps up to the front door, and steps down to the bathroom.
  • This is the old servants quarters, so it has no spectacular views and is by an old garage and storage area. Its curb appeal isn’t high.
  • We do not accept children over a year.
  • Whilst there is wifi, there is no mobile phone signal. We provide a landline handset for emergencies.
  • This is an apartment in a house that is split into ten homes. Some are residential, some are holiday lets.  Your apartment is quiet and private, but you are not in perfect isolation.

Oh no, you can't put me off! 🙂

Hmm, what have you got?
